If the United States ruling class had no issues with nuking a country that was on the verge of defeat (Japan) - twice… it will likely not have a problem doing so now with Iran. The US ruling class has got to be overthrown by American workers. In short, a revolution in the United States is absolutely necessary. But American workers must urgently organise for this event.
This International Working Women's Day, I'm mainly thinking of the families and friends of the 168 girls blown to bits by the US military in Iran when they targetted their school. The God-fearing butchers of the US and Israeli ruling classes - absolute moralists as they are - have said they have God on their side, who they appear to treat as nothing more than a 'heavenly sanitarian who gathers and cleans all the filth in their wake'. At least the rest of us assume responsibility for ourselves.
In fact Zionism is mostly US Christian led (about 120 million Christian Zionists in the US) and has always been supported by the anti-semitic ruling classes of Britain, Germany, France and the United States - from the Mussolini-admiring Winston Churchill to the sieg-heiling Elon Musk. By conflating all Jews with Israeli ruling class opinions and Zionist ideology, RTÉ is committing a classic anti semitic act - that of defining what they say is "the Jew"
RTÉ news must stop reporting the opinions of Israel and their Zionist supporters as "the Jewish community". The actual Jewish community is much more diverse than this and there is plenty of evidence to show that a growing proportion of Jewish people do not support Zionism.

This was a tactic used by the Israelis at the beginning of their genocide against Gaza; they manipulated via the media to sow doubt over reports of the atrocities they had committed in Gaza. They're doing the same with Iran.
Interesting and unsurprising to hear on RTÉ this morning that 'young people are turning to religion'. Religion is of course the 'opiate of the masses' that many people will turn to in desperation and despair because of the conditions and reality that they face. The reality, of course, is that ordinary people across the world, from Iran to Israel to Ireland, are faced with ruthless ruling classes that pursue their material interests at everyone else's cost.
