Temporarily moving "back" to Fedora while waiting for Vanilla OS updating; Some of the problem I was having in VOS still persist in Fedora 42, so it's definitely my GPU (I bought a second hand ex-mining GPU for this specific build).
Anyway, GNOME + Flatpak combo is the way to go. No terminal and I think you *shouldn't* depend on terminal in 21st century of computing.
