“The most legal way to kill someone today is to hire them a personal doctor.”

I just published my first essay on Medium. It revolves around the theme of antifragility, exploring how stress—far from being harmful—can actually heal, strengthen, and protect us.

Stress is not the enemy - Prithvi.In.May - Medium

“Stress” has a bad reputation in our modern society. Stress is blamed for various diseases such as a heart condition or cancer and even mental disorders. Is it really true? What if instead, stress is…

Most people are unhappy—not all, but many. The rich fear losing wealth, the middle class fear instability, the poor lack basic needs. Each sees their struggle as the worst. Money doesn’t guarantee happiness, despite common belief. So who’s happy? Those who remain calmly ignorant of their problems, yet manage them well. Gödel showed that math can talk about itself. He invented a numbering system called "Gödel numbering" and then wrote the following sentence with help of mathematics:

“This statement cannot be proven.”

If it can be proven, it's false.
If it can’t be proven, it's true.

So we have a true statement that math itself can never prove.

No matter how far we go,
there will always be truths just out of reach.

Math, like life, is
beautifully incomplete.

We all know vertical gene transfer: parent to child, same species.
But evolution doesn't just inherit — it shares.

In horizontal gene transfer (HGT), DNA jumps across species.
Viruses, bacteria, even humans carry foreign genes.

Example: Mitochondria were once free-living bacteria, absorbed by ancient cells via endosymbiosis.

Life isn’t a tree — it’s a tangled web.

Passion is overrated.

What you love is often just what you're familiar with.

You love your favorite subject not because it sparked some magical interest—but because you've spent more time with it. You know its layers, patterns, and rhythm.

Familiarity builds love.

What you need isn’t passion—it’s exposure, repetition, and learning.

If you want to love something deeply, master it.
