As exciting & fascinating as all this new AI Technology is, I fear that a monster is being created, in many different parts, by people oblivious to the greater picture of what this means for society, truth, and even democracy.
Albeit, an interesting technical achievement, what moral or ethical use is there for this tech? Call me a doomsayer but I can’t think of one. In this era of increased fake news, spoofing, fake everything, what media can be trusted soon?

Call me an idealistic dreamer but I really didn’t think the bird site would turn into a complete cesspool of hate, especially so quickly. I was wrong, so very wrong.
I kind of feel dirty even looking at it these days. The site always kinda annoyed me but it’s kind of sad how bad it’s gotten & so quickly too. It makes me worry about the future for progressive ideas & action in the face of fascism.
If we bring anything over from twitter, then let it be this. You know what to do.
