Nach der Pride-Parade in Budapest hat Ungarns Ministerpräsident Viktor Orban auf die Veranstaltung reagiert. Mehreren örtlichen Medien zufolge schickte er eine Nachricht an eine geschlossene Gruppe von Anhängern namens "Klub der Kämpfer", in der er die Pride als "ekelhaft und beschämend" bezeichnete. Außerdem legte er nahe, die EU habe den Protest orchestriert.
