Franziska Beran has joined our group to work on her own DFG-funded project on the mechanisms of sequestration of plant defense compounds in flea beetles. Welcome, Franzi!

Our group was present at Jena's "Long Night of the Sciences" last Friday. Visitors could learn about phenotypic parallelism in chats, simulate evolution with NetLogo, capture unpredictable grasshoppers with a game-like simulation and see the chromosomes of a grasshopper.
