Her partner, Eich, is actually one of the chicks that had been raised by Inge and Ivica in that very same nesting area! He's from the clutch from 2022!

Last year's falcon drama was so interesting to witness! Can't imagine how excited Leander Khil was, the ornithologist responsible for setting up the webcam. It's not often you can witness such behaviour so closely!

Eventually, because peregrine falcons are a protected species, two of the weakest chicks were removed and hand-raised, to make things easier on Ivica while Tavda kept making it harder for him.
Interestingly enough Tavda never harmed the chicks. She seemed mostly just confused and/or curious about them, it was really fascinating to watch her tentatively interact with them!

All four chicks made it through and left the nest and now Tavda has taken over the nesting place with her own partner
