I swear if you look the US over the last 30-50 as a novel outline, it would be laughably repetitive.

In today's DnD session the preteens asked "the math kid" what to do with their hard won gold. They figure they can buy 637 goats, and are trying to figure out why they would go back out adventuring. My son the DM is not amused
