Myself and everyone love watching BikingDC doing his deliveries (nearly always food but sometimes perfume or iPads) but YT suggested a similar channel of a guy in London who just delivered a box of essentially knives! 🤷🪒 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/KzTuihQor6g

It's too true. Even on a fancy Mac with basically unlimited RAM & CPU I can barely tolerate most websites nowadays. Safari Reader Mode and “Hide Distracting Items” mode can help, but you have to enact them manually. And heaven forfend me trying on my kinda too-old iPad.

@daringfireball It is astonishing isn't it. I often try to avoid sites that abuse me in this way, even with a fancy new computer. But Sometimes I need to visit “fandom” (aka wikia) and suffer even when I do have a way to click and turn off the shit.

I wish there were more cell phone vendors than Apple and Samsung! It was kinda fun when Microsoft was trying; My uncle liked it!

@NanoRaptor I believe that is a PowerBook 100, which peculiarly is a PowerBook *not* designed by Apple! (Sony)
@RikerGoogling Snail Mail
@RikerGoogling 🤷 allegedly on max setting a Type 2 phaser (sort-of the TNG dustbuster) can vaporize a building. Make sure it's charging up overnight, I guess.
I know it's popular to consider "Empire Strikes Back" the best Star Wars movie, but in the context of a themed scrabble game that only reminds me of the various movies, I realize it truly is! I am into Cloud City already and I'm sad it might be almost over for this episode. (SpellStruck #AppleArcade ) This one set of levels just came out this week and I don't know when the next one comes out.
@gruber It certainly is more obvious in Dark Mode … one wonders if that is the mode the "designers" mostly use now
