The trace is consistent: ✅ 1492B Payload = PASS ❌ 1493B Payload = DROP

Because it returns zero "Packet Too Big" errors, clients loop forever (RFC4890 violation).

I'm thinking of forcing RA MTU to 1280 to stop local fragmentation entirely. Thoughts? #IPv6 #NetEng

Anyone else noticing IPv6 fragmentation drops on EE/BT FTTP? 🕵️‍♂️

Investigating Private Relay stalls/battery drain and found a nasty "Silent Drop" on the upstream.

It accepts 1492B unfragmented packets but kills anything fragmented without sending ICMPv6 errors. 🧵👇

Seeing persistent high CPU on Edge (Canary/Dev/Beta) on Apple Silicon?

Symptoms: After ~2hrs uptime, fans spin up despite responsive UI.

Root Cause (via sample): Thread pool livelock. Main thread is idle (mach_msg_trap), but 8 worker threads spin at 100% in ChromeMain. Persists on fresh profiles if Sync is enabled.

Anyone else seeing this?

been trying to use #microsoft #loop for around the last 9 months. It's not a team thing (though we do have office 365). Mostly just my notes from meetings.

getting fed up with constant auth popups, some lost data, can feel a bit clunky at times.

Back to onenote, or apple notes?

This feels like a mastodon thing - there is a UK hospital trust trying to get rid of 132 used solar panels from demolished buildings. Schuco MPE 190 MS 06, tested in 2023 at 89% original capacity. No mountings or inverters, believe would be free for collection only from the Midlands. another try with #openvibe - still seems to load only the first part of my timeline (12-24 h ?) then it’s back to a month ago. no way of gap filling . Unfortunately it’s been like this since the beginning. shame, because otherwise it’s really nice. I’m just too busy to use SM frequently enough!

I do worry sometimes we shuffle governments around too much. it’s been little over a year. is that enough time to get anything big done?
