Oh damn, got that nice handle I actually wanted here months ago somewhere else.
The client is like a weird mashup of TweetDeck, MetroTwit and Discord, design-wise.
And it's written in Electron because I'm a lazy web developer.
This is Surfbird by the way. A Twitter client I started writing around a year ago which went through countless iterations.
It has design but no functionality. Maybe I add multi-service support, for both Mastodon and Twitter. Who knows.
Kinda feel like adding Mastodon support to Surfbird but WILL I EVER WORK ON IT AGAIN
I remember when we made Retrospring, we had several moments of people flooding the site and it basically dying down after these events.
And in the end we always shut it down :^)
Not a bad thing, but this is probably going to be one of those peak moments and then it slowly passing off again.
Damn, Mastodon really seems to get a lot of hype now.
