I really enjoy following Mastodon people who enjoy things into which I've never really sunk my teeth.

To see their sense of freedom here is liberating and liberates me. Reading about hardship and struggles is also as it should be; we all have hard times. We all struggle.

There are no algorithms to steer me away from what enables humans to have open conversations.

Seeing other cultures than the ones I (somewhat) know is wondrous and beautiful.
