Tomorrow is the third No Kings rally. We will be going to the event in Boston, or so it seems now. I expect the Common will be completely mobbed, as we here in Massachusetts have a couple of centuries of anti-monarchy sentiment to inspire us. Presumably by Monday the Trump enablers in the media will have categorized us all as paid agitators (still waiting for my check, George!).
See you Monday.

We are planning to be part of Saturday's big "No Kings III" demonstration, most likely heading into Boston for the gathering on the Common. I know people who've never protested before who are planning on participating, and that's a hopeful sign. To change everything, we need everybody — and the current state of affairs is spiraling out of control. This can't go on.
See you tomorrow.

My student made a lesson plan for Music Blocks visual programming language. Check it out.
Did you know that MAP Afterschool students are building their own structures? From geodesic domes made from newspapers to retail shops constructed from shipping boxes, our young artists and engineers are learning essential skills like problem-solving, hand-eye coordination, and spatial reasoning. Read about structure building at MAP Afterschool, written by MAP Teaching Artist and Classroom Assistant, Sudip:

Last summer, MAPFLC hosted a five-concert series featuring our music teachers, performing music from around the world. The concerts, which were free and open to the public, showcased our teaching artists in a family-friendly setting. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Malden Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
