I think I got the rmpc theme as far as as I want to take it – for now, at least.

Still have to fiddle around with the config to improve some behavior, but that's for another time.

rmpc is a TUI client for #mpd with modern terminal features.

cava is a TUI audio visualizer that rmpc can embed and it can visualize mpd-like FIFOs

snapcast is a generic service for synchronized audio over network. Which can read from mpd FIFOs. And on the client-side output into any file – including ones created by mkfifo.

One hacky shellscript and a bunch of configuration later and I have 60fps audio visualization for a *remote* mpd instance in my terminal. 🤤

Still have to port over my custom terminal colors from X, but the new desktop is really beginning to come together – so take some preliminary #unixporn.

And thanks to #swayFX, I can apply background blur to pretty much anything I want. >:3

Had the weirdest experience this weekend.

I looked into sculpting with #blender. I did it mostly for completeness sake, so I could say I did and fully expected to completely fail at it.

But instead it just… immediately clicked? Like, I'm having a completely *intuitive* experience… in blender!?

And now I'm just hammering out stuff like this? Without even using any reference material?

What the fuck is going on? 

Finally beginning to develop something like intuition for #blender.

Managed to get most of the geometry for a low-poly M1912 together within a couple hours and the topology is even half-decent.
