Today's release includes a long list of enhancements and new features, many of them contributed by our community. Most notably, performance has been significantly improved, we added a collapsible info sidebar to the viewer, you can select an image as album cover, and you can configure computer vision tasks like image classification to use an external service. This was long overdue: A "Set as Album Cover" action has finally been added to the Viewer menu! You can test it on our public demo or with our regularly updated preview builds 👌

Besides usability enhancements, today's release also includes PDF support, the latest translations contributed by our community, and fixes for recently discovered issues. With the UI update now largely complete, we know that many users will be excited to hear that our development focus is shifting to batch editing, as well as improved multi-user and AI capabilities. We've been very much looking forward to this, and hope you enjoy the new release while we are working on the next! 🎁💐
