Day 12 of our Welsh road trip took us further along the coast, with a quick stop for fish & chips in Pembroke and a restock at the local deli.
From there we headed to Martin’s Head at West Hook and bagged another unreal pitch — sea views straight across the estuary 🌊.
After setting up, we hiked past the coast watch station to the very tip of the landmass. Quiet, dramatic, and beautifully remote.

Day 11 hit us hard — Storm Floris rolled in and absolutely drenched us on the beach at Freshwater West 🌊🌪️.
By the time we came out from lunch— total weather flip. Sun. Blue skies.
Finished the day back at Freshwater West to watch the same beach, now totally transformed.
Day 9 of our Welsh van life adventure took us deeper into Pembrokeshire. We stopped for coffee with a sea view in Manorbier, passed through Freshwater East, and ended up at Parke Farm.
Natural pitches cut into long meadow grass, stone-baked pizza for dinner, and a fire pit soundtrack of grasshoppers chirping through golden hour. These are the moments we live for.
