Middle aged (hopefully) tinkerer./ Focusing on infrastructure, software, and infosec automation and efficiencies. Constantly on the look out for the next thing that captures my attention.

@merlin I've used GestióIP before, it's very okay. There's also phpipam.

But the one I went with for a small, off-site project where just keeping track of used IPs was essential? http://spritelink.github.io/NIPAP/

A nice Westmalle Trappist beer with MST3K is a great way to wind down my Sunday.

@revoluciana Piefed is similar to Lemmy (which is in turn similar to Reddit) if any of those are familiar.

@revoluciana I started just browsing Piefed All sorted by Hot - then one by one blocking communities that didn't fit the bill.

It's led to some most excellent Star Trek memes like this one.

Our Star Trek Christmas tree is coming along nicely!

I should be getting the final ornaments in the next week or so - a light up/sound Borg Cube and a DS9.

I am so honored to have been awarded the first annual infosec.exchange peace prize. 🏆

After a conversation with my Dad today about a range of topics like, "Are immigrants really owed due process?" (They are), and "Why does autism seem to just pop up since the introduction of vaccines?" (Ffs) - I've started a project.

I'm gathering a bunch of sources and citations on those topics above in addition to things like tariffs, the history of gender (no, trans folk haven't just started appearing, Dad), and a whole slew of other things.

Dad and Mom parrot taking points but don't have specific sources - even bad ones - and I found myself madly googling to find specific examples of things I've read, heard on podcasts, etc.

I'd like to go into my next discussion armed with specific links from a variety of sources to demonstrate I'm not making this up. My Dad taught history and science if you can believe it, so I'm hoping I can appeal to that part of his brain.

@train I'm running Ollama on my Plex server - it has a RTX 2060 for hardware transcoding, and I thought it could serve a dual purpose.

It's fairly responsive!

Friends, I'm happy to share that starting today I'll be spreading my misinformation from a new instance!

Thanks a million @nopatience for inviting me here ❤️

And that's my first disc detainer lock! Just a cheap lock to start, moving on to more difficult ones before I tackle an abloy.
