@jwilker Any time that I’ve had connection problems such as this, it was the fault of the car’s head unit, not the iPhone. My 2017 Honda Accord had all sort of unpredictable behaviors. My Mach-E works very well with CarPlay.

@billvinson As far as I can tell, this functionality remains unchanged in iOS 17 so far. I have two doors as well, and it seems to display the last door that was controlled via Homekit. If it is the wrong door, I revert to using Siri to open the correct one. Agree that it would be nice to be able to specify the door for CarPlay use.

@CelloMomOnCars I think PHEV incentives, if the were to exist at all, should be phased out in a couple of years. Hybrids in general are looking like not but a short time approach whose time is nearly over.
