There's been some talk recently about an upsurge in cholera cases worldwide. 2022 data aren't fully available yet, but here's a graph of global cholera cases over the last 30 years. The big surge here is almost entirely due to cases in Yemen (shown here in red) resulting from the massive destruction of their civilian water and sanitation infrastructure by the Saudis in the recent war.
