@morrick Yes, indeed. Today's Howard Oakley posted another article in his growing series of articles pointing out the plummeting quality in macOS. (Howard Oakley is a man who, famously, grants Apple plenty of latitude; more than Apple deserves in my view. Yet even he is getting sick to the back teeth.)

@morrick what do you make of the speculation that (aside from jamming AI into every nook and cranny) Apple's OS27 releases (next year) will follow in the footsteps of Snow Leopard and will be a 'bug fix' release focusing on stability? Thanks.

@thedalrymplereport Interesting show this week, chaps. I feel identical to Jim – Apple HW is the best in the business, but I've become so appalled by the SW that months ago I ditched my iPhone, Watch and Homepod Mini and I have no regrets. These all became a daily source of frustration that I no longer have to live with. I'll re-evaluate if the Apple executive team ever changes to include people who care about software again. I just wanted to urge Jim to take the plunge. Toodle pip.
