Sign in an office in our shared workspace. Maybe it's motivational for some people, but I don't think it would kickstart my best efforts on a damp Monday morning in February.

Seen in our small Berkshire village. So say we all.

A colour photo of our village taken yesterday morning. All that snow is turning to slush now and is nowhere near as pretty.

Visited Calleva, near Silchester in Hampshire. The old Roman walls are visible around what remains of the town, still very high in some places. A good tow to three metres in height, combined with what would have been a trench on the far side would have been daunting to try to climb. 100 acres of town, buried under the soil, waiting to be excavated again.

Walking around the south wall, we found this spectacular old yew tree growing out of the top of the wall.

Signs of Spring. I'm always glad to see the back of winter and the approach of spring. I'm no fan of the colder, darker months so seeing the day lengthen and life returning always improves my mood.

Several of us took the opportunity to go whale watching off the coast of San Diego last week. We were there for our Worldwide conference, but had some free time
These dolphins and gray whales were migrating from Alaska down to the coast off Mexico and we were really glad we saw these. An amazing sight.

I took this photo two years ago, on New Year's Eve 2020. It had been a rough year for many, and I hoped the new year would improve the covid situation. It wasn't to be, but on that day, I was hopeful. Despite living in our village for 20 years at that stage, this was my first time taking that footpath.

I saw this and thought it was something @Ciaraioch would appreciate. Got to love those hands.
My younger son's pal gave him a Christmas card/present thing. The artwork is outstanding and unique, and typical of a young male.
