Two of my favorite things: burros and olive trees.
Breckenridge leaf peeping at its peak.
Was a good walk in the woods this morning. Moose and deer, but no elk seen.
Chronic venous insufficiency, but certainly not chronic venal insufficiency. That man is as venal as anyone on earth.
Chronic Venal Overload.
Tarpers suck. This woman blocked off two 8x10’ spots, one of them covering two rows of seats. Just selfish and unthoughtful.
Is there anything better than a shower beer?
After 10 hours on the dusty road supporting #breckepic I’m not sure.
My good boy is supposed to only sleep on the blanket, not on the couch itself. Sometimes I let it slide, especially on the old faded slipcovers at the cabin. We can always wash or replace them, but he’s only going to be with me a few more years I’m afraid.
It’s been a while since I bought new motorcycle tires, but it seems like the Trump tariffs have really had their effect. Strangely, I’m not finding any American made motorcycle tires. Imagine that.
#braaapI felled 6 trees today. With one exception, I easily bucked them all and brought the wood home to split for next winter (or the winter after this winter). One got hung up as a result of me trying to hurry and avoid going back to the truck for a couple more wedges. It doesn’t pay to hurry.
I spent all day cutting down dead trees, bucking them up and gathering it back to the house. Simple physical work with obvious results. Highly satisfying. Log-splitting will happen next to add to this pile.
