Northside Home Care Services workers were outside the Dáil yesterday (and out in Coolock today) with their union the IWU to fight for their basic entitlements to pay parity.
Have a listen to Sonya explain why they're there, and why they'll keep fighting.
The government must take action and give them the pay parity they need, and treat them as the section 39 workers that they are.
One reason people are so exposed to these price increases is because of the capitalist class' addiction to fossil fuels.
Despite all the rhetoric from government, they're entrenching us deeper into reliance on fossil fuels. Any additional renewable energy is miniscule compared to the increased energy eaten up by the increase in data centres. It's shameful.
Trump's now demanding we buy their dirty fracked gas to feed into this even more.

The government talks a specific way to placate the US & Israel. The reality is that they're getting rid of the triple lock so that they can align us even further with US imperialism.
Micheál Martin can't even answer the question straight out... I'm sure he wouldn't like anyone pointing out that he won't even repeat what his own FF colleague Robert Troy said in the Dáil...
