I don't know.
I think an even bigger migration is coming after Twitter. We'll save the "Great Migration" for that event.
I just had a thought about how #Musk is contributing to the tremendous growth of the #Fediverse (in particular #Mastodon):
Is it possible this is his "Commit to being #hardcore" message to Twitter users? 🤔 So, accept the crazy in the #Muskverse or go build a new, healthier community elsewhere?

An Incredible Day In Internet History
It started with the Twitter lockout. 10,000 new users per hour. A QUARTER MILLION people migrated to Mastodon in one day. The servers struggled. Remarkably, admins all over the world built up capacity in real time. New users were patient. The system held.
It's running better now. There will be more hard days ahead, but people powered social media has arrived.
I've said it a few times before, but I'll say it again due to the latest influx: Mastodon is not Twitter. Don't expect it to be entirely the same. But be patient and play around a bit. The marginal differences may seem confusing at first, but it's not difficult to figure it out after spending just a little bit of time.
There is a learning curve, but it is *extremely* short, and not very steep at all.
Follow a few active accounts, and dive in...
