So.. I landed this HP 715/50 a few years ago and was super excited! It was fully functioning and I think it came from and HP employee. Had HP-UX 10.something on it and I had root access! Anyway I messed all that up and decided whatevs I'm putting OpenBSD on this thing! Well after trying whatever version was current at the time 6.something) and it failing to boot after a seemingly successful install I lost steam. Over the years I'd pick it up and put it back down.

Well a couple of weeks ago I decided to grab a @BlueSCSI v2 and test it out on this thing. Well shit it Just Worked! But OpenBSD didn't. V 7.7 failed at boot after install again. Failed at the same point in boot.

NetBSD, my old warrior, what can you do for me? Prove it isn't hardware? Well it worked. Most copying an iso onto an SD card sure makes this poking around so much easier than trying to burn a CDROM and oh yeah my CDROM died..

So thanks to bluescsi for making something that makes bringing this old stuff back from the dead and make it easy to do! Thank you NetBSD for being the can opener of operating systems! Now to co figure and get X running on this thing.. I've only got one switch in the house that will talk to the 10baseT AUI adapter..
