Does anyone have a sora2 invite code to share? 🙏
Over the years, I can clearly see the bias of MKBHD against Apple. He keeps talking about walled garden and assigning iPhone success to iMessage locking. Guess what, iMessage is not popular in Australia, nor in Asia. Still iPhones are really popular. iPhones market share in India is going up where WhatsApp dominates and Apple Pay isn’t there. His take, Samsung Buds Pro 4 are not becoming a go-to earbuds is because Apple runs a walled garden, is so bad. Has it got nothing to do with Samsung?
I swear if I hear one more app releasing transcribe and summarize feature, I might faint! What’s with this craze of summarizing everything? Read long form article, read the narrative, let your mind be a bit involved and engrossed with something for a while. And no, I haven’t used any AI tool to summarise these thoughts.

Not sure, but thought you guys might like this quick little Quicksilver inspired app by Mikkel Malmberg. His video narration is even better :) https://youtu.be/vkm-ZFlivyI?si=IlRRoAsfS3EE-sxi

1Password was using 2GB. That's what Pearcleaner reported while uninstalling the app. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I should have charged rent to 1Password for using so much space on my machine.
Moved to Apple Passwords and Uplock combo from 1Password. Thanks @alfredapp and Shortcuts app. Basically, recreated the same shortcuts to open the actions within these app to match with 1Password shortcuts.
@siracusa Not sure if you know about TubularPro or Supercut. https://mastodon.social/@paubhavyang/115429022100120782
Time and again, you see that institutional patience of Apple is a strength, which everyone seems to see as a weakness. Still today none of the companies who have spent billions are in a state to say they have found a real use-case for AI technology. Everyone is struggling to find a consumer product. LLM subscriptions don’t feel like products. That seems more like an additive technology.
I honestly think Gruber is over-indexing on macOS bugs and attaching it to Apple’s downfall. Something else also I have realized is I like to read/listen to decades old tech blogs, but they all generally team-up to form a narrative. I have contrary view this time around.
@gruber and…… YouTube app for VisionOS doesn’t follow native UI elements and pull the same Google’s UI crap. I don’t know why people were so looking forward to viewing YouTube’s 360degree videos. Their quality is trash compared to Apple’s immersive videos.
