All these years, Iโve thought that Teach-In were singing โding-a-dong, listen to it, maybe itโs a bigotโ, and I wondered why that sounded so wrong. They were in fact singing โbig hitโ, dear reader ๐
It ironically confuses others whenever I do this, but itโs what my brain needs to do to survive.
So in summary:
* be kind and respectful to others
* be upfront about intentions
* donโt take others for granted
* make sure you show the people you care about that you value them.
I continue to get hurt by people who say one thing and mean another. Iโve been guilty of the same thing myself, and I know I need to do better on that front. But that doesnโt absolve others of their responsibility either.
When I get hurt, I withdraw from others to protect myself from further painโฆ
