I'm sorry #Xcode, what?

Trying to debug on my iPad and I get this rather cryptic error?

Went to upgrade my MacBook to Tahoe 26.1 and found it frozen again due to messages consuming all memory.

This has happened at least a half dozen times since 26.0. Only way to resolve is to force quit apps (not just messages) until you get the right combo to unlock the system or just restart and the OS will tell you which apps are blocking.

Perhaps 26.1 resolves this and so much more?

More “research” for my Peakist peakbagging app. Japhy and I have completed the #Catskill Fire Tower Challenge for 2025. He also now has 5 of his Catskill 3500 peaks. I’m not sure my knees will allow me to help him get all the other peaks.

When you are an #indiedev you get to create what amounts to a complete app with your actual app just for help and feedback.

The corporate ghouls would toss up a web page or just direct users to Discord to wander around in disgust and give up.

Perfect #hiking weather today in the #Catskills. View from Friday Mountain. Also hit Balsam Cap but the view from there explains its name. I mean the balsams are beautiful but not terribly photogenic.

Two notoriously difficult “trail-less” peaks. Not so difficult any more due to the herd paths. I think I prefer the pre-herd paths days but at my age I’ll take what help I can get.

Adding plain text search to Cartographer (native MacOS gps editor/viewer)

Search for any point of interest and zoom the map or add a waypoint at that spot. Quickly find mountains, restaurants or most anything.

Makes adding waypoints much easier when you aren't quite sure where something is. Let the API find it for you!

Very happy with how this is working so far.
