I don’t like being treated like an inconvenience, or being talked down to or not being listened to. And that’s all that this situation has been since the switch in January. It’s frustrating and disheartening and it pisses me off. You know shit’s bad when you end up in tears over gd medication!

And no one is willing to help. The doctor, his staff, the insurance and the pharmacy treat us like we’re being a nuisance and like WE’RE THE ONES CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. It’s impossible to get anyone who knows the whole process in order to get the assistance we need. I have to take time away from work to deal with all of this, but have to be careful not to lose my job since our income and insurance is through my job as the sole wage earner. (2/3)

Dealing with medical issues is so damn exhausting. You almost have to have a medical degree just to get through the various systems and get help. My partner is a transplant patient and navigating this process for the last 10-15 years has taught me a lot, but not enough to deal with things I have no control of like RX company changes under insurance. Ours switched over in January and we have had nothing but headaches with it since then. (1/3)
