Studio Ghibli Puts Online 400 Images from Eight Classic Films, and Lets You Download Them for Free
Japan’s Studio Ghibli has long been protective of their intellectual property, with Hayao Miyazaki and his team overseeing how their characters are merchandized, as well as carefully making sure foreign distribution of their films stay faithful to the original.
The EU is introducing an energy label for phones, together with mandatory requirements for phones sold in the EU;
- 5 years of software updates (AFTER they stop selling the device in the EU)
- providing important hardware parts (during sale and for 7 years after), including free software (if needed), to every repair shop, within 5-10 business days
- batteries have to make 800 charging cycles and still be above 80% original capacity
And on top of that, phones and tablets need this energy label (which also includes a fall damage durability and repairability score), and abide by the above requirements, from 20 June 2025.

Product Energy Efficiency - Smartphones and Tablets. The 2023 regulations cover smartphones, feature phones, cordless phones and slate tablets. They do not apply to tablet computers, to products with flexible main display (roll-up), and to smartphones for high security communication. Energy labelling is foreseen only for smartphones and slate tablets.

It's a Total Ink Coverage display filter! A simple algorithm that shows how much CMYK ink is being used in a particular part of the image. This is useful to know for printing, as different paper has different ink limits.
I want to integrate it with the soft-proofing pop-over as well, but this is a nice start.
This week's #MythologyMonday theme is time. The personification of time in #GreekMythology is Chronos (Χρονος), not to be confused with Kronos (Κρονος), the dad of Zeus and his siblings. The conflation of the two occurred in antiquity but became more widespread during the Renaissance, which is why Father Time wields the harvesting scythe of Kronos in modern iconography. In Orphism he is a two-sexed deity born from Hydros (water) and Gaia (earth).

@Neotheta Here is a base rigg that you can do once and then save as a template:
- The group 1 contains the vector panels, and the group 2
- The group 2 inherit alpha (so you paint only inside Vector Layer 3 shapes), then you draw, paint, line-art freely in group 2
- On top of the stack, a clone layer of Vector Layer 3, in Multiply mode to redraw the panel border line.
