I am somewhat baffled. Against all experience and (albeit limited) knowledge, is my on-board graphics (Ryzen 5600G) giving x4 performance than my graphics card (RX550). Like 66fps vs 13fps, which is the difference between playable or not.
@gamingonlinux Any ideas? Firmware/driver performance? The only thing that comes to mind is that the card has 2Gb memory and I've allocated the on-board 4GB.

Abandoned America1/ A few thoughts on the 'artists promoting their work' discussion: most creators you follow are not wealthy people. Writing a book does not make you rich. Being a talented painter does not make you rich. A lot of us are scrambling to pay our bills and we HATE it. We hate the hustle & posting links to storefronts. But we are also busy AF trying to survive doing 12 different jobs. If you don't like "ads" know that we hate them too - but otherwise the work doesn't get made. It's that simple.

As it's pretty much a tradition to play board games over the holiday period, I've bought Mansion of Madness.
Because who doesn't enjoy some Cthulhu at Christmas.
Whilst cooking this evening and momentarily distracted the potatoes boiled over and I said a very bad word.
Unfortunately, the little one (3 y.o.) was in the kitchen and repeated the word I said. With perfect pronunciation, which isn't bad for their 2nd language.
Had to control myself and not burst out laughing.
