My name is Andy and I'm from Belgium. Born in '76.
I spend most of my free time digitising and restoring classic video game magazines, mostly from the UK.
I've been doing this for over 20 years now and I'm here to share my passion for these magazines, as well as the games they cover with others.
I love to read and talk about gaming memories from years gone by.

My main hobbies are gaming, both modern and retro gaming, as well as Japanese, South Korean and classic Hong Kong cinema.

Update on the kitty.
She’s doing incredibly well.
The doctors told me that she didn’t make a peep for the 24 hours she was there.
Yet, when they brought her home and handed me the basket and heard me call out for her, she started miaowing. 😭

They pulled 8 teeth in total but told me that she already lost a couple before.
Gave her some super tiny cut chicken, but she didn’t want that. instead wanted regular size pieces. 😅

She’s been sleeping most off-the-peg day but when she’s up, she’s incredibly happy and super affectionate.
She did keep to herself a little though, going into her hideaway place to sleep.

But as of later this afternoon she actually came over and wanted to lay next to me on the couch advies scan some magazines.

Here she is watching Yojimbo on the tv. 😊

Tatefully done Taito.

If anyone in the Benelux is looking for a Switch 2, I just received an email from Nedgame that they got some stock in.

This is the first time that I've actually got a mail from them that they have systems to just pick up and buy.

There's so much fun stuff in this issue (especially for horror fans), that I ended up with nearly 50 pages to post here.
But I'll try to pick a couple of varied articles.

First up in the review for Driver on PSone.
Taken from CVG 212 - July 1999 (UK)

This probably explains why I "randomly" picked up Parallel Lines and San Francisco on Wii yesterday. 😅

And the contents pages for CVG 212 - July 1999 (UK)

After finding a handful of CVG issues that I thought I had lost during a move, and then finding a couple more at a local retro shop this past week, I now have ten more issues to work on.
Including the Dreamcast launch issue, which I'm editing right now and is such a joy. 😊

The first couple have just been completed and here is the first issue:

CVG 212 - July 1999 (UK), which has just been added to the preliminary magazine catalogue.

Enjoy! 😙

This was one of the last games I was expecting to pop up in a regular issue of GamesMaster, well okay, besides Visual Novels I guess.

Preview for Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari or The Story of the Island of the Seven Winds on Sega Saturn.
An adventure game developed by Givro and published by Enix, which would never release outside of Japan.
Taken from GamesMaster 59 - September 1997 (UK)
