Xcode 26.3 is going to support AI agents. Just ChatGPT integration was pretty bad, ending up with empty files, and UI implementation of always trimmed questions is weird.
I have an almost 6 years old Android phone. Pixel 4a. love the form factor. Google official support ended a while back. The latest official Android version is 13. But it is so cool that with lineageos I can install the latest Android 16. And everything works, no issue.
Performance seems good. Have all the new AI features I assume.
I guess that is the benefit of the open source OS, comparing to iOS.
Oh boy.... Creative Studio... It feels like Apple hired a lot of people from Microsoft from Windows 8 times.
That message download another Numbers app from the App Store... You serious?
16 hours flying back home from Dubai. Ugh… Imagine meeting somebody 100 years ago… And they like “16 hours?!!! That is 16 months trip man”. At this point we don’t appreciate the progress that much. But it is still there.

Apple System Status all green.

Checked social networks - people complaining that they also cannot login.

I don't want to sound like an old man, but India act on pre-installing the government app, I am sure in my lifetime I will see the same in USA. We are going to talk about it a lot, but at the end, everyone is going to have it.

Cannot believe we live in a state, when just a screen saver fails to actually work. macOS 26. I have Shuffle All (Aerials) enabled. Two monitors connected. Main monitor fails to play the video, just shows a single frame.

Workaround: change wallpaper to something else and back to Shuffle Aerials.

i just got @outcoldman ’s "OpenIn" (on sale right now) and I was able to fix a long-standing issue i’ve had with @fastmail : opening mailto: links by just clicking on them. there is no (good) 1st party app, so we need to roll our own, using their PWA.

steps to set up a fastmail single-site app:
1. go to https://app.fastmail.com
2. go to file -> add to dock…
3. i think this might automatically put the app in your "applications" folder in your home directory, if not move it there, or adjust the script below

steps to set up this workflow
1. buy openin at an extreme discount
2. go to the mail tab (pictured below)
3. if you click + under "applications", one of these is a zsh script
4. copy and paste my script into the dialog as pictured:
https://gist.github.com/ranvel/1d040ba7b7365cb6f420698c2a4376c1
5. (optional) if you go back to the finder and go to "applications" and then right click on the Fastmail.app, you should see a "open this package" or something similar. inside of there is the .icns (icons package). copy this to your download dir
6. (optional) now you can change the icon for the script, as pictured.

OpenIn (from @outcoldman) is one of the greatest utility apps on Mac. Highly recommend.

Really hope there's a way to get it on iPad some day.
