Doing some drywall today.

These are notes for myself...

* cut drywall with a utility knife and a straight edge - accurate within 1/4" is sufficient.
* don't use so many drywall screws.
* smear drywall mud over your clothes. It's going to happen anyway.
* throw drywall mud on the floor where you can step on it
* might as well squish drywall mud between your fingers
* 45 minute quick drywall mud becomes 5 minute quick drywall mud after storing for more than 2 months.
* if doing more than one section of drywall at a time, smear fingers in the previous section of drywall when starting the next
* sometimes a hand planer works better than a sander
* only I will look closely enough at the final product to find all the flaws
