And to anticipate comments: the flight tickets were not refundable, and we have done a safety assessment and liaised with other participants on the ground who confirmed their safe arrival, leading us to conclude that this course of action is the best usage of our resources. While we deeply regret the cancellation and especially the way it happened, we’re hopeful that less participants can also lead to stronger interactions.
