Celebrating Zack Milauskas Network Technician's Two-Year Anniversary at OpenCape Corp. šŸŽ‰

During his tenure, he has played an important role in supporting the performance and reliability of OpenCape’s fiber network. His work helps ensure the critical infrastructure our customers depend on every day continues to operate at the highest level.

He brings valuable knowledge and a steady, thoughtful approach to the team. Thanks for all your hard work, Zack! Here’s to many more years of success.

What are symmetrical internet speeds—and why should you care?

Symmetrical speed internet means your download and upload speeds are equal.

So a 1 Gbps connection delivers 1 Gbps down and 1 Gbps up.

Here’s where symmetrical speeds make a difference:

šŸ“¤ Large files upload quickly
ā˜ļø Cloud tools work better
šŸš€ Your connection is ready for modern demands. From security cameras to AI-driven tools, many technologies continuously send data—not just receive it.

Is Your Internet a Utility—or a Strategic Asset?

Most providers treat internet like a basic utility. At OpenCape, we provide high-performance infrastructure engineered for those who can't afford a bottleneck.

šŸš€ 400 Gbps Backbone: Massive throughput with zero peak-hour congestion.
šŸ„ 99.999% Uptime: Mission-critical redundancy with dual-homed, auto-rerouting paths.
šŸŽ§ Responsive Support: No "distant corporation" runaround. You get a direct dial to an expert team that understands your mission.

Connecting Schools, Safety, and Community: Join OpenCape Today

It's more than just internet; you're choosing to support the essential services that keep our community learning, safe, and thriving. As a local, nonprofit provider, we power libraries, town halls, police, fire, and over 60 schools across Cape Cod, Southeastern MA and RI.

By switching, you're helping us get closer to more communities and the businesses that support them. Every connection builds a network that benefits us all.

Accidents happen. It’s the response that defines the partner. šŸ› ļø

Earlier this week, a utility pole strike in #Provincetown knocked out power and #FiberOptic connection to Outer Cape Health Services. For healthcare providers, connectivity is essential for patient care.

While utility crews replaced the pole, our team worked through the night to restore the fiber link safely.

Restored: Tuesday, 5PM. šŸ“ˆ
