The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) will debut a major, thought-provoking new exhibition, “Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures,” March 24, 2023. Investigating Afrofuturist expression through art, music, activism and more, this exhibition explores and reveals Afrofuturism’s historic and poignant engagement with African American history and popular culture.

mastodon vs twitter (updated)

Anyone have interest in helping me with my dissertation for EdD? 🙏🏽👨🏽‍🎓

Topic: African American male students’ perception on the efficacy of mentoring programs at historicallly white institutions vs historical black colleges and universities.

Specific help: research population ideas (accessibility). Current mentoring programs that you could speak on or know someone who could for my research purposes. Possible questions.

@onwardandupward @RonanBeckman Using Mastodon has a bit of a learning curve. Look to follow as many people who sounds interesting as you can can (you can curate later), look for posts with tips, and post about things that interest you so people can decide if they want to follow you. Use CWs as much as possible.
Also, the Mastodon site on desktop vs different apps can be a different experience due to varying functionality (I like Tusky), so try out what suits you best.
Any question, ask. Enjoy!
HELLO…HELLO…HELLO. Quick intro. I’m Adam, I’m a blogger, doctoral student, and domestic born black same race adoptee. Looking to connect on here as my learning of this app develops. Probably will share some writing and hopefully learn tips and suggestions from that. Mostly will talk about my personal development journey and how being adopted has affected that. Insert a few rants or confessions and whatever else comes along the way. 👋🏽
