Developing Morningstar, a LEGO mecha & spaceship tabletop wargame. I also do other tabletop stuff and sometimes art.

The Grenadiers pressed their advantage, sweeping through the Gun Squad and the isolated is-Caerten before losing one squad to the Pygaed. Trench Watch Cavalry surrounded the tractor, but though they failed to damage it the Easkovites were already broken. Great fun, can't wait to add even more! (4/4)
A second Rhyfler Squad joined the melee against the Shotgunners, almost breaking their line through sheer weight of numbers. But the Grenadiers that charged in instantly destroyed a Rhyfler Squad each, leaving their hapless is-Caerten all alone and the Easkovite right flank completely open. (3/4)
An Easky Rhyfler Squad joined the Gun Squad in overwatch, causing casualties on the Trench Watch Infantry's approach. The Trench Watch Cavalry wiped out the Autoped Patrol on the flank, then lost a squad to machine gun fire from the Pygaed. Shotgunners then assaulted out of the woods. (2/4)
Played another solo game of This Quar's War today, with my new (still WIP) terrain and three sections per side. In round one, Creevin's assault section moved into the woods while Easky's Autoped Patrol flanked and their Gun Squad took up overwatch atop the hill. (1/4) #tabletop #wargaming
More progress on my scatter terrain. Added some railroad ballast, then a mix of coarse and fine turf in three shades of green. Seems alright, but I might do another pass with more light green to make it more lush. And I still need to add larger plants and seal it all in. #tabletop #wargaming
Despite enjoying this hobby for decades, I'm pretty sure this is my first time making my own scatter terrain. Designed for 15 mm Quar but should work for other scales and games. I think it's going well—next I'll add smaller rocks, then grass and bushes. #tabletop #wargaming
Finally placed my order for my first 2 mm historical minis from Irregular Miniatures. Shipping was very costly, but I'll have armies for both sides of the Franco-Prussian War (for use with 2x2 Napoleonics), Gallia vs. the Empire (Valkyria Chronicles-themed O Group), and even a few extras. Excited!
Four more spaceships for the medical megacorp: recon frigate, destroyer, beam frigate (!), and corvette. Downsizing the cruiser design worked out well, though the corvette needed more adjustment to be small enough. Still not sure if these are drafts or "final", but it was a nice, quick fleet. #LEGO
Made some adjustments to the undersides of the medical megacorp spaceships, and added a third. This one is more of a light cruiser, with point defense turrets and swarm projectors. Getting kind of a Halo battle rifle vibe off this one and the carrier. Working on a frigate design now. #LEGO
As these ships are private security for a corporation within the EDSC, I wanted to keep them slightly smaller than the cruiser-class vessels used by the military. So they're thinner than Navy ships, but longer than those of their rivals at Zero Point.
