CLAP HANDS -- Most of the times I'm listening to TOM WAITS album 'Rain Dogs', I start drifting away and get lost in my thoughts. He manages to create feelings and paint pictures with strange music and even stranger lyrics.
But sometimes my thoughts get more technical: How do you compose such songs?

BOB -- This is a personal one. Around 22 Years ago a classmate of mine introduced me to the song "Bob" by NOFX. This song was a peek into the DIY music world, which led to 22 years full of music, friends and doing stuff without worrying if I'm "good" at it. PHANTOGRAM aren't exactly what you would call a small underground band, given the 5,7Million monthly listeners on Spotify. Yet I have never heard of them until Daniel Suarez mentioned WHEN I'M SMALL in his great Book "Delta V". Time to jump on the bandwagon!
