I've discovered #kumihimo. I'm guessing my way through it with supplies I have on hand, but it's very satisfying and astounding that just moving bits of string from one position to the next produces a complicated, delicate thing.

Part 14 of Elven Truths is up! The ambassador is back home, so the underlings are in charge of both the embassy and the column! Kip is apparently hungry.

Image is of Prince Elorhyn, who is also on the list of forbidden column topics. They couldn't even add him to the list.

#PennedPossibilities 1055 Does your MC consider themself to be a professional? Of what?

I've come to realize that Aggi kind of needs a job, especially if I'm going to rework the series so it's unrelated to Second Life. I vaguely hint that she has a secondhand shop, does photography, and likes to garden. I'd kind of like to ignore the shop part, (since I did in game) but what other jobs could she have? In her past life she was a sailor.

#WordWeavers 27th Jun ~ Do you use humour in your writing? If so, any tricks to share?

I like to think I'm funny, but I can't say for sure that anyone else finds it funny.

#WordWeavers 26. If you had to rewrite your WIP into another genre, what would you choose and why?

Voidstones & Visions - totally would do a 1930's western/cowboy/dust bowl type theme. It's halfway there already. It'd probably end up being weird west, too.

Almost missed #Pridemonth, but y'know? It should be a year-round state of mind. You're safe with us, all the time. #SecondLife

#WordWeavers June 24th: Do you use or make maps in your writing process?

Yes. My brain provides a general shape, and tells me which way north is, and dislikes deviating from that original format. Sometimes it doesn't make sense geographically and I have to fight it.

Maps feature in the Voidstone book, and as they keep having to change the route, I'm going to have to sit down and draw something much more detailed!

#PennedPossibilities 1051 — MC POV: What, if any, superstitions do you keep? Do you feel compelled to impose them on others?

Andrew, Voidstones: "If a little old lady says I need to gather a certain plant at midnight on the second day of the month in order for her famous recipe to be effective, I'll do it. But if said plant is in her yard, and she adds being naked as a requirement, then I'm giving her one of my sleeping potions first. I'm not falling for that again."

It's Monday again, and we're discussing the sun today over in Elven Truths https://archiveofourown.org/works/83097221/chapters/230669506

Oh, right, I have a #SecondLife blog! New how-to post up, covering how to remove the typing animation, the build and edit animations, that annoying zap line when you're editing an object, and changing names above avatars.

Removing Unnecessary Animations and Visual Clutter

I've never been a big fan of the editing poses and whatnot that go on while I'm editing items in Second Life.  I know I'm building or movin...
