Apple used to stand for something. Now Tim Cook gifts golden statues to Trump, removes apps at the administration's request, and cozies up to accused rapists at White House screenings. The company I once admired has become morally bankrupt, but leaving the ecosystem feels almost impossible.
“DRAIN THE SWAMP” was only half the slogan. The rest was “..AND FILL IT WITH EVEN WORSE CREATURES”.
Whenever I mention that Trump has a floor of a 40% approval rating, there are always people who show up to explain that half of these people are simply misinformed.
I understand that but it’s a choice. It’s a choice to get your information from Fox News where the Melania movie is a huge hit when in reality it’s a massive flop.
Stop making excuses for people who have chosen the path of willful ignorance to give themselves plausible deniability.
