How getting a Brompton affected my cycling statistics?

While 2025 hasn't been oustanding compared to 2024 in terms of distance cycled (5949 km in 2025, 6111 km in 2024), getting a #Brompton at the end of Dec 2024 affected my cycling statistics in a different way – Brompton+trains became my main mode of transport, and although the average distance per day cycling in a year decreased, the number of days I was cycling increased from 44% of all days in a year in 2024 to 73% in 2025!

#SteamLocomotive finally back on Slovenian #railway tracks!! The first rides were the Christmas #train, however I hope additional rides are coming in future, also on the Bohinj railway! Can't wait to take it!

On Saturday, #LjubljanskaKolesarskaMreža from Ljubljana and #SindikatBiciklista from Zagreb organized, together with municipalities of #Brežice and #Brdovec, a cross-border cycling event, featuring bicycle repairs, safety polygon, drunkness simulator, and much much more. So great! On the coming weekend, a similar event is planned, however in the opposite direction.

Today's first #BikeTrain 🚲🚲🚲 in #Črnuče, #Ljubljana, was fantastic! So many happy children that even the weather held off with rain! Even the #PresidentOfSlovenia came! Bravo to the organizers with the #LjubljanaCyclingMayor at the helm!

#Ljubljana - one could say that it is trying to be a bicycle city (although taken over by cars, and municipality contributing to it), but it is definitely not a bycicle city.

Yesterday's #traintrip from Ljubljana, Slovenia, to Vrchlabí, Czechia, via Klagenfurt and Wien, Austria, went very well, with great #bicycle spaces on Slovenian FLIRT (obligatory reservation), Austrian and Czech RailJet (obligatory reservation), and Arriva and České dráhy local trains in Czehia. All for 91 EUR per person+bicycle.

Today's afterwork Flirting on a #CircularTrainTrip with #SlovenskeŽeleznice was great ;) The route was Ljubljana-Sevnica-Trebnje-Ljubljana, a bit less than 170 km, which is the small #RailwayCircle in Slovenia. It is very relaxing to just sit and look out :)

I am always amused watching people parking bicycles in the bicycle towers (cyklověž) scattered around Czech Republic. It seems that it tooks less than 15 seconds to park the bicycle! This one is in Pardubice.
