Hello, I’m a Finnish programmer working in insurance.
I’m interested in usability, home automation, games, trains, planes, OpenStreetMap, and other stuff too. I’m also trying to find ways to do better work while keeping work relatively stress free.
I adore my Apple TV boxes, and watch 100% of my TV through them. I recommend them all the time, and it's the single best way to watch streaming services on a TV, especially if the household is already in the Apple ecosystem.
But jeeeezus the price was ridiculous BEFORE the price hike, and now it’s ridiculously ridiculous especially for a four year old product. Not good. I wish Apple would rethink its Apple TV product line.

Millä heuristiikalla itselle tuntemattomasta ruokakaupasta löytäisi maitokahvijuoman? Yritin viikonloppuna kolmeen otteeseen, mutta eivät nähtävästi ole maito-, kahvi-, tai juomaosastoilla.

The exceptions are so rare and so nice. The one-man shop that keeps my winter tires lets me book a tire change online. He might change my tires and not say a word, except the price while entering it in the register. Absolutely no follow-up or reminders to come back in the autumn.
One time he sheepishly asked if I’d participate in a tire group buy because my old tires were unusable. Called me five months later which I somehow missed, and never called me again.
Would recommend to a friend.
I googled my own bike’s make and model to see how the stupid mudguards are supposed to attach. And now I get to enjoy ads for electric bikes anywhere I go 🤦♂️
I guess that would solve the mudguards though
