If you didn't vote Harris in the last election you have said "I'm not getting my perfect candidate, so I do not care about what happens to other people, what I want is more important than the basic rights of others: I don't think they actually have any rights, just a gift of conditional existence that is less important than me getting what *I* want".

The moment you decide to put your preferences, or your personal concerns, over the basic rights of others to exist, you are saying that the basic rights of others are not actually rights, which means fundamentally you consider them to be less human than you are.
