A simple weekend in b&w.
When you strip color out of a photo, you lose the easy stuff. No warm tones to save a flat composition. No contrast between a red wall and a green plant to make things interesting. What you have left is light, shapes, and lines. That's it. And that's exactly why shooting in black and white is one of the best exercises when you're learning.
People’s Park
When I travel to a new place, I always do two things. First, I make a list of weird and exotic food I must try. Second, I check Atlas Obscura to find off-the-beaten-path spots. And voilà. Thanks to it, I found one of the best places to photograph in Singapore: the People’s Park Complex.
2025
As we get closer to midnight, I’ve realized something: I’m a bit annoyed with myself for ending the year with this: So much happened in 2025! Re-discovering Amsterdam
I first visited Amsterdam in 2007 during a multi-stop trip between Belgium and the Netherlands. Coming from sunny Barcelona, the city felt dull. I vividly remember how gray everything was. I had not experienced Northern Europe much then, so I was unfamiliar with humid weather, damp streets, and gray cobblestones (a few years living in Ireland changed that). But I recently visited again.

Friends! I’m looking for my next role after nearly three years at Stately. I’m a UX designer who is just as comfortable in front-end development. I also love writing, giving talks, and making videos, so I’m up for dev and design advocacy roles, too.
If I sound like someone you want on your team, please give me a shout!
The "Web Content #Accessibility Guidelines" (#WCAG), summarized in simple language.
Just looking at the table-of-contents tree reminds me of how many things I keep forgetting. 😳
Excellent resource by #Stark (they don't seem to have a #Fediverse presence)
