Started in porn, moved to action movies but was such a mentalist, at the insistence of the films insurers he had to have a bodyguard on the set of Predator to protect the cast from him, went to prison for 3 years for harassing his ex-wife, which was then overturned and he went into politics, but was dropped for comments that were overtly racist and supportive of genocide, went into film making, both legs removed, dead. I'm sure plenty of other stuff happened but those were the highlights for me.

Today, Friday, June 12, the Commercial Court of the Canton of Zurich in Switzerland issued its ruling in the case of Palantir’s lawsuit seeking a right of reply against Republik Magazine over the joint investigation with the WAV Research Collective. According to the court’s ruling, Palantir lost 95 percent of its claims: The judges rejected 22 of the tech company’s 23 requests for a right of reply. Only with regard to a single statement about the development of the Foundry software did the court find that the conditions for the right of reply were met.
Co-editor-in-chief Daniel Binswanger concludes: «This ruling shows that independent journalism can stand its ground against powerful corporations.»
Balz Oertli from WAV Research Collective comments: «We invested a great deal of effort into this case, and we are very pleased with the outcome.»
