Long time Emacs user who tries to battle 21th century complexity with the help of parenthesis.

The tricky part was using the various block chars down to one 8:th char height and their color inverted pseudo chars to not only properly render correctly within the grid but also correctly redraw when the event is moved earlier or later in the day / week.
