I've finally managed to get an orbital piercing to work. I found a 1.6mm ball closure ring in Blue Banana which has a much larger ball than usual (and thus a bigger gap!).

After a bit of teasing it's gone in beautifully. Now I hope I can keep it in long term.

Why are my ears so hairy?

This week I walked up another rollercoaster - I think this might be my last for a while. Where do you go from here? 236 feet up puts me at the top of the very highest coaster in the UK. There's no more up.

Yes there are two more climbs I can do (Swarm and Colossus, both at Thorpe Park) but they don't have meaning to me like Nemesis and Oblivion. Even Hyperia doesn't have personal meaning as I've not grown up with it being there.

Still. Top of the world eh?
