Couple of weeks ago my Pop_OS! DELL Workstation failed updates, which corrupted the system and the boot loader.
This was the second time.
I was in a remote area and struggled to get it back up.
I turned to a KDE Neon install which I managed to load on a live USB via my cellphone using https://play.google.com/store/search?q=etchdroid&c=apps&hl=en
This has been the easiest way for me to install a laptop ever, so many thanks to https://depau.eu for making my life so much breathable again

Lately we've had a lot of #asianhornets and their flying flock squatting our flat - we live in a dense city.
We're kind of ecolo-conscious weirdos so we needed a peaceful solution that would not harm the ecosystem or other living things.
We figured a cheap way to kill the hornets and their cohorts by using a bio product available in most grocery stores, best part? It's so green that spiders will feast on the body of our dead enemies.

So amongst the cool stuff I'm doing lately, I have been commissioned to work on a niche app for an architect specialised in Middle Age arch-itecture.
I studied literature and anything with numbers tend to scare the living hell out of me, so getting into maths & 3d rendering feels like adventurous, but I'm having a blast.
We're working on a method called Epure de Méry, from the XIXth, that allows to check the viability of arches.

So for the first time in more than a decade I've subscribed to a new social platform: mastodon.

I detoxed myself from facebook and instagram about 8 years ago and was very disappointed to see that linkedin replaced them in my routine.

Right now I'm expanding my internet culture to find the tools and environments that could support democracy at international scale.
