It's Linux all the way down the stack. Always has been.

With some careful poking and prodding of the Yocto build recipes, the OpenSolo firmware for the 3DR Solo UAV and Link Remote Controller completed successfully. Prep work for the Ringzer0 UAS Workshop in March.

This is just an analogy.
Not a climate model.
Not a formula.

Just a simple image to help intuit how a warmer system can lead to more cold spells further south and more warm spells further north.

The jet stream is more complex than a simple wave, but one way a simple wave can adjust to increased energy is by increasing the amplitude. In this analogy, pushing cold zones further south and warm zones further north and leading to more extreme swings in the mid-latitudes.

If we accept a wave model for the jet stream, other ways it might express increased energy is by higher frequency, higher velocity, expanding volume, or higher temps. And since polar areas are warming faster than lower latitudes, there could be less energy fed into the jet stream, not more, due to decreased temp differential between polar and mid-lat zones. That is why I say: Do not take this too literally. It's a just wave analogy, not a climate model.
